Festival at country church This was a fundraising event at a small church between Austin and Webberville. Was funny to see a white guy from Michigan playing the accordion in a Mexican band. The music was a combination Mexican and German polka music.. German immigrants introduced the accordion and the polka many years ago when they settled in the area. The local people integrated them into their music. Now it has a name and has its roots in this area of Texas. It is called Tejano. Check out the history and the music.
